my adaptation of Cindy Sherman's Untitled Film Stills

In photography we studied Cindy Sherman for a bit, especially on her Untitled Film Stills which were taken around the 80s but set in the 1940s/50s. Sherman actually used herself as a model, I'm not particularly sure why but this series was looked in depth as perhaps a political or feminist movement because of the vulnerability shown by the subject in the images.

I quite like my interpretation of these images, but I would rather have all of your opinions on them.

  1. I think they're great, the lighting is good and the model has just the right expression - very similar to the Cindy Sherman expressions. I like the kitchen scene particularly, really echoes Cindy's version.
