Topshop Unique - My Article for LDNXX/WEARECOLLISION

Following up my post from yesterday, here is a snippet of my third article for the LDNXX/WEARECOLLISION online blog on the Topshop Unique A/W14 show. 

The Topshop Unique show this season seemed to be all about cosy warmth, sex appeal and the ever changing fashion trends of the fashion savvy women of today. The collection was varied; fur coats, puffer jackets and shearling vests were all shown under the branch of “warmth”, whereas silhouettes nodded to the 1950s era occasionally with slip dresses, belted waists and a few A-line skirts. For me, the focus was on colour: rust, dark grey, navy and lemon yellow were the main focus and outfits largely featured in only one of these colours, offering a sense of ease on the eye with the lack of patterns.
